Create impact with your disused tech by donating it to refugees who are disconnected and offline. We collect your company laptops, smartphones and tablets for free, and through our in-house repair and refurbishment, breathe new life into unwanted IT. 

After collection, we provide a full itemised receipt of your donation. Upon request, we can perform ADISA-certified data sanitisation tailored to your needs, which includes a data destruction certificate for each device and a full compliance report.

In return for your company donations, we’ll provide you with compelling social and environmental impact reporting, which includes detailed client case studies and quantitative impact data, allowing you to hit company ESG targets and showcase your support externally. 

  • Screen Share collects, sanitises, refurbishes and redistributes devices to refugees nationwide.

    We match refugees with specific devices, provide free internet, train refugees in laptop repair and refurbishment and offer digital skills training.

  • The production of a new laptop is responsible for over 330kg in carbon emissions, whilst refurbishment emits just a fraction at 16-20kg.

  • Through refurbishment, we extend the devices’ life cycle from 4 to 8 years. We run full diagnostics, upgrade the hardware and install new software, all ready for its new user.

NARA’S STORY

Nara* is a young woman from Afghanistan, currently living on the outskirts of London.

Nara* was referred to Screen Share by one of our partner organisations as she received an offer to study Cyber Security at the University of East London, but had no laptop to start her degree programme. Like many refugees who are without a connected device, Nara* used a library computer to write her UCAS application.

Thanks to the generosity of one of our corporate tech donors, we were able to give Nara* a fantastic MacBook, which will support her entire academic journey and beyond. Since receiving the laptop, everything has changed for Nara*:
